It Ain’t Hard (The Friday Ficks S5 E34)

A well-known comedian is currently touring the country with a show titled “It Ain’t Right.”

On a recent podcast prep call, the host asked me: “If you were on tour, what would your show be called?”

Without hesitation, I said: “It Ain’t Hard.”

Because so much of what makes life better, both personally and professionally, isn’t hard. It just takes intentionality.

It ain’t hard:

● To affirm rather than tear down.

● To express gratitude instead of criticism.

● To connect instead of isolate.

● To spread hope, not despair.

● To lead with humility, not ego.

● To tell the truth instead of spinning a lie.

● To offer a compliment instead of a complaint.

● To own mistakes, not deflect them.

● To be the difference, not the disruption.

● To listen deeply, not just hear.

● To stay loyal, not betray.

● To appreciate instead of scorn.

● To act when no one is asking.

Try just one today. It ain’t hard.
