The email arrived early one morning - an unfamiliar name, an unfamiliar address, and a subject line that caught me: The Friday Ficks.

I write to tell simple, honest stories about leadership that often goes unnoticed. Leadership that shows up quietly - through example, intention, and choice.

I write to spark a moment of clarity for someone who may need it more than they realize.

I write to help at least one person move beyond just surviving the day and toward something better - more grounded, more hopeful, more whole.

Yes, I appreciated the note. Deeply.

But its true value was this: a reminder that when we show up with generosity and consistency, our impact travels farther than we can see.

Long after the post is read. Long after the meeting ends. Long after the moment passes.

That’s how ripples work.
