That's what the sign outside a church said as I pedaled past on a long bike ride.

So that's what I'm doing.

Hope.

La speranza. Nadzieja. Rajo. Hoop. Hoffnung. Espoir. Espwa.

Different languages. One universal need.

On the eve of America's 250th birthday, remember that hope is one of the few gifts that grows when you give it away.
